Provides outpatient mental health treatment, education and outreach services that are targeted to especially benefit the GLBT community including programs specifically for youth, adults and older adults. Information and referral services for families and caregivers of children with physical needs and/or children with developmental disabilities including Autism, intellectual disabilities, and Cerebral Palsy. Staff members live with youth to provide a combination of family life, friends, school, extracurricular activities, therapy, and life skills classes that help youth overcome their traumatic pasts and learn to become independent. Legislatively designated local health planning entity delivers health and human service innovations at the national, state and local level through planning, direct services, evaluation, and organizational capacity building. The program operates out of four of the five archdiocesan pregnancy help centers: Hollywood, North Dade, South Dade, and Fort Lauderdale. They learn about pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting in individual or group sessions.
